On Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois in partnership with the Illinois North-East Multi Regional Training Center and Harper College Law Enforcement and Justice Administration, Forensic Science Programs, held the 2010 Anti-Violence Summit for local law enforcement in the Wojcik Conference Center.
This conference gathered experts from around the country and the region to discuss street gang protocols, technology, intelligence and prosecutions. A lunch time session on leadership was presented and well received by the audience.
Approximately 250 law enforcement officials attended the one day conference where the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, Patrick Fitzgerald, presented Harper College with a plaque stating, "In grateful appreciation for your outstanding efforts and commitment to local, state and federal law enforcement in the Northern District of Illinois."
